Risk Analysis and Compare of Aluminum Powder Transportation By Rail and Road in Iran: Case of Aluminum Powder Transportation From Jajarm To Sarakhs
Purpose of this study is produce a new model for comparison risk of Aluminum Powder transportation via Rail and Road in one if importance Iran corridors. To this aim, for two ground transportation method (rail & road) and their Routes we consideration risk (popular exposure) as parameter. In this study, first we use incident simulation software (ALOHA) for estimating incident radius and second, we use ArcGIS for estimating popular exposure in incident radius in all routes. for the reason that Jajarm-Sarakhs have long distance and hazards of Aluminum Powder transportation we select this methods (road & rail) for Aluminum Powder transportation from Jajarm to Sarakhs. finally, results show rail route has less risk to transport Aluminum Powder.
