On 18 March, Kosar Abbasi successfully defended her MSc thesis entitled:

“Investigating the cognitive functions characteristics of rail switchman”

This study is considered a unique psychological evaluation for rail switchmen in the literature. It is the first research of its kind conducted here in Iran. Please let us know if you are aware of any similar studies for rail switchmen!

The results of this study will be used to hire new candidates for rail switchmen in RAI. Additionally, it will aid in evaluating current switchman employees working in RAI!

Thanks to Dr.Vahid Sadeghi and his team of graduate students in Psychology department at SBU who worked during last three years on this topic to interview and examine 160 switchman by computer test to evaluate cognitive functions!
