On February 4th of 2024, members of the Transportation Systems & Logistics (TSL) research laboratory and my students in the Risk Management course presented their research findings on the “Risks associated with gasoline transport by rail” at Persian Railway Transportation. The Persian Railway Transportation company is considering the transport of gasoline.
The company, which owns 1,200 tank wagons, is the largest railway transportation company in Iran and is involved in the transportation of various goods, including petroleum, chemicals, petrochemical products, edible and non-edible oils, as well as providing forwarding services!
