On July 4, Professor Shervan Ataei from School of Railway Engieneering and I visited PWCS in Tehran , Iran! TSL members accompanied us in the site visit!

The West Tehran Public Warehouses and Customs Services(PWCS) Company, with an area of 44 hectares, were established in 1972 to provide services such as unloading, loading, storage, safety, and protection of goods in the Tehran city area.

The infrastructure facilities of PWCS include:

• 22 covered warehouses (with side walls) with a total area of 49,189 square meters.
• Eight hangar warehouses with an area of 18,239 square meters.
• 12 loading warehouses with concrete floors with an area of 32,845 square meters.
• Three loading warehouses with pavement with an area of 180,000 square meters.
